The Sevastopol Rotunda is an observation deck overlooking Kiloen Bay, built in 1905 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the defense of Sebastopol during the Crimean War
During the war of 1941-1945, the building was almost completely destroyed.
The rotunda was restored only in 1958. But as always with us, wrong in the details. The columns had before the Doric order, and now the Corinthian order.
As an architectural phenomenon, the first rotundas appeared in the era of antiquity and flourished in the era of classicism.
