Photos taken with my HP945 camera in Hermanus, Western Cape, South Africa.
The rock hyrax (Procavia capensis), also named - rock badger and Cape hyrax and is also commonly referred to in South African English/Afrikaans as the "dassie". Strange but true it's closest living relative is the elephant. They can be found in both Africa and Middle East. These guys/girls are cute but can be very cheeky at times.

They blend into their scenery. Reminds me of National Geographic.
