You're welcome. I traded steem dollars for steem yesterday @ 1.2875. I'm not really sure what the best strategy is. I'm sure active management will lead to losses like in most markets. For now just watching and trying to understand the platform better. From what I have read, there is a good case to me made to power up when the price is down.

When buying steem you don't have to accept the going rate as you can enter a better rate and benefit should the price drop further. However if the rate continues to rise then your trade won't go through. I took all geopolitical and potential financial events into consideration and decided to power up for now. When I get to 500 I will be able to control the strength of my vote which means I can start supporting others again. My 100% voting power was about 20c - now it should be closer to 30c. Always look as the date any article is written as the hard forks change things. Kevin Wong's article could be incorrect today.
