A Wandering Walk Around Zhenjiang

in photography •  8 years ago

Zhenjiang is a small city between Changzhou (where I live) and Nanjing, which is the capital of Jiangsu Province. In many ways, it's a lot more run down the either of the two other places. However, unlike Changzhou, it has more of its history preserved. A lot of Changzhou got wiped clean, locals have told me, during the Cultural Revolution in China. This is only the fourth time I have been there.

You have some really good shots in there, the 5th to last being my favorite, thanks for sharing. What is the Egg-shaped building for? Namaste :)

The egg shaped building was not being used. It was completely empty. That just means it might be recently built.

Hey, nice photo collection you shoot there thanks for sharing them the one I like the most was the pagoda and the one with the pagoda in the mountain.

Looks to be a rather nostalgic town. Another 666 shop. This internet cafe has the specials too? The first pic has this interesting poster ad for fireworks and firecrackers. Ready for business for the Chinese New Year.

I can't resist 666 pictures. It the culturally opposite meanings make it funny all the time for me.

Very interesting post!

thanks!
