While waiting, I like to relax by creating graphic art on my phone. These photographs are high quality nature shots edited in the Pixlr app.

I like adding a galaxy filter to create an otherworldly image, one that seems plausible, palpable...like you could just slip into it. Pics are 3024 x 3024.

When photographs are blurry, it can make for an even better template, for art.

This is actually one of our favorite spots.

Night photography rocks. Luckily, my phone camera does good in low light. This is at the gas station, just off the I-5, south of Eugene. From here you can clearly see traffic flow in both directions.

The sunset last night was amazing. I caught this just before the end, before it was gone.

Plant life in December. The cold hardly affects these guys. I think they might be toxic, they don't ever seem to be eaten by anything I have seen...

Rose hips seem an inviting capture. Their bright red contrasts the overcast Oregon gloom.

Another bend in the Tualatin River offers light, bouncing off the water, in between the tree branches.

Green hue is manipulated to create this magical color scene of ground cover on the trail.

The reservoir is low right now, but it will fill up as the rainy season comes on heavier this Winter. Yesterday morning was the first frost we've had here, close to sea level. Now it's time to harvest the rose hips.

I forget how this one began. It seemed the perfect scape to form into outer space...and to create a portal.

The sunlight bends as the camera lens attempts to focus on this single dew drop...life is an amazing adventure. So much reveals itself in such a little space...
