This public art installation at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada was created by Coast Salish artist Thomas Cannell and is entitled "Vitaity". The faces of four basalt slabs have been carved with images symbolizing family life of a traditional Coastal Salish community.
