Galaxy opal found in Oregon!

This beautiful specimen was found in Oregon and is just filled full of vibrant fiery colors leaving one increasingly enticed with it's beauty. This pendant was sold at auction for $20,000! The Opal was mined in Opal Butte, Oregon.
This particular opal is commonly found with limonite, sandstone, rhyolite, marl and basalt. nebula-opal.jpg
