TIGER CAVE TEMPLE IN KRABI, SOUTHERN THAILAND (no actual tigers)

Imagine walking up 10,000 steps of red and white stripes, surrounding you on both sides is jungle and trees and monkeys cheekily playing with each other and stealing all the snacks from unsuspecting tourists.
The steps are uneven and one minute, feels like you've barely raised a milimeter between steps, and the next it feels as if you're having to do a pull up to raise to the next level.

When you finally reach the top, you hear nothing but a faint hum. It's sunset and not only has the sky turned pink and clouds violet shades and tempestuous thunder roars and lightning is illuminating brief moments of time. There is a panoramic view, divided in 3 parts; beautiful ocean, jungle drenched limestone mountains and twinkling lights of the city below.

There are 2 huge golden buddhas sitting in lotus position, meditating and presenting a peaceful aura. While a huge golden bell waits patiently in front to be rung by the buddhist Monks who retreat to the top of the temple to soak up the calmness high above the bustling city below.

As the sun sets, the clouds begin to roll up the mountain, chasing the bats swooping around catching the runaway moths and mosquitos.
