Cave temples of Badami

Badami was the capital of the Chalukya empire for several centuries, it is a small town located in Bagalkot district, Karnataka. Badami is a complex of four Hindu, Jain and Buddhist cave temples. It was a great experience walking through the red sandstone hills with beautiful carvings inside the caves.

Yes, the architecture is truly marvelous to withstand the sands of time and still remain so beautiful like it was made few years ago.
