John Rayleigh was the first physicist to correctly identify the fact that our eyes indeed perceive the night sky as a dark navy blue, but in reality, the sky contains a majority of violet spectrum colours -- which when picked up by modern day lenses curated the trend of violet night skies.

As you can see, taken in an extremely low-light environment the original image was unable to capture as much information as our eyes could perceive, resulting in this image. Where the heavy darks and shadows overpower all detail and colour in the picture.
Not to worry but, with the magic of RAW shooting ...
With this edit, the main goal was to bring attention to the aforementioned navy and violet night sky. Heavy blue primaries were used to achieve the vibrant sky colour and I intentionally kept the shadows slightly higher and clarity lower on the trees to bring the attention fully to the sky and keep the moody atmosphere of the picture.
That's about it for today! Hope you enjoyed and please don't hesitate to leave any feedback!
See you guys next post :)
