Botanical Photography

Lately I've begun to organize my entire photo library: tagging, sorting, deleting, etc. I realized how much work I could've saved if I had been diligent from the start. There's still a lot to sort and tag, but as soon as I come across old and interesting photos that I'd to share, I add them to a collection.

Here is a selection of some close up photos of plants that I took, enjoy!

50 mm, 1/1250 s, f/6.3, ISO 100, flash fired

100 mm, 1/400 s, f/4, ISO 1600

100 mm, 1/125 s, f/4, ISO 400

100 mm, 1/250 s, f/4, ISO 400

100 mm, 1/160 s, f/5.6, ISO 1600, focus stacked from 3 photos

100 mm, 1/100 s, f/5.6, ISO 100

Love the photos - I'm currently learning how to use my DSLR camera without using the AUTO feature lol so hopefully I can get similar results to this myself soon

Thanks @mcpughy - once you grasp the concept of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, you will WANT to stop using auto! Then you can just focus on your composition!
