Night photography

Photography is a kind of addiction. I have been infected long ago. But this drug has never been a profession. Because of which there is a lot of interest in photography, I have no good / expensive camera or no institutional degree. Every time I got a camera (whether it was a film camera or a mobile camera or a digital camera) I took photos.

However, my interest in photography is the night photography. Because of the evidence of how well a photographer is in his night photography. The photographer has to show his expertise in knight photography. Because the Hal Points and Shoots Digital Camera, you can look at the object in the daytime and by pressing the shutter button, anyone can take beautiful pictures and make friends with friends. But this is totally different in the night or in lesser light. In this case, if the camera does not manipulate manually, taking pictures with expensive (professional or DSLR) camera, the picture does not work well. But by changing the little options, it is possible to take great night pictures with a lot of low-resolution cameras.

However, in this article I will share with you the small knowledge / experience of my night photography. And this writing is definitely not for a skilled photographer. We hope to have well-thought-out opinions from professional photographers.Nightmare of Night PhotographyThe options that you need to change over night / low light to take good pictures are: ISO, exposure time (and shutter speed) and aperture value. In addition to this, both image stabilization and vibration reduction options can be used (which is present in most digital cameras); However, its role in knight photography is slightly smaller.

  1. ISO - means how sensitive your camera is (sensual) in the light. The more ISOs will select (meaning the camera sensor will make more photosensitive), the less exposure time to take the same picture will take longer exposure time. However, the source of the ISO for Night Photography is that almost all the night you have to raise the ISO for better picture. And the universally recognized ISO for Night Photography is 400. You can increase the correction even if you need to change the aperture or exposure time. Otherwise, the Grain will come in the picture. Remember the few things about the ISO:
    A. It is better not to increase the ISO not too close to the near constant objects (such as flowers pictures or portraits).
    5.jpg

B. If the object is close and stabilized and you use tripod and where the object flash rebuild does not increase the ISO there will be intelligent work.
C. If the object is moving (such as a stage show, concert, birthday party, art gallery etc.) and if you have not used Tripod, increase the ISO as much as possible (if necessary). And with this, the exposure time will be reduced (increase the shutter speed). Otherwise, a shadow of a picture may appear with the photo.
D Generally, there will be an increase in the ISO where there is less light and outside the Object Range.

  1. Exposure time (shutter speed) - How long your camera shutter will be open (through shutter speed) and as long as your camera sensor will expose the light (exposure time). Exposure / shutter speed can vary from 60 seconds to 1/8000 seconds depending on the camera. In nearly all cases you need to increase exposure in night photography. But remember that empty hands (if not tripped) will give the blurred image if the exposure is more than 1/15 seconds. If you want to take photos in more exposure, you must use Tripod. If you do not have tripod, you can use a remote controller. If there is no remote control on the camera (usually DSLR or some remote DSLR remote control on the camera), then there is nothing to worry about B-) In that case, the camera can use the camera's "shelf timer" option on a wall or stand; It will work somewhat. And the thing to remember about exposure is:A. If you use more exposure, try setting aperture value (f) in most (or the image will be over-exposed / white). And if using less exposure, try setting the aperture value (f) lower (otherwise the picture will be dark / black).

  2. Appercher-aperture is like your eyes If the light is more in the eye, the jewel automatically becomes smaller and the jewel grows in the dark / low light. Appararao is similar. The difference is that the camera itself can not make its monkey bigger (aperture) smaller than your eyes. At night you have to do this work manually (aperture small-sized work). The aperture of the camera is usually expressed by f (f); Such as f2, f8 ... .f32 etc. Remember the aperture value will be as small as the eyes of the camera (meaning the camera will enter less light), whereas the aperture value will be as big as the camera's eyes (meaning the camera will enter more light). And the concept of night photography is to reduce the aperture value in almost all areas. In addition, keep the following things in mind:
    8.jpg

A. If you want to highlight everything in the whole frame (foreground and background) in your picture, take a picture (f16 or f22) by increasing the exposure (approximately 1 second or so) and aperture value. This will affect the surroundings of the surroundings (such as during a sunset scene on the beach or a picture taken during the dusk)
B. If you just want to highlight some of the foregrounds, reverse the above method. This means decrease the exposure (roughly 1/250 seconds or around) and decrease aperture value (f8 or less).
A. If you want to take portraits during the day, increase the aperture value and exponentially increase the exposure; The background will be blurred but the picture of the person in the foreground will be clear. (Take pictures of your beloved in front of a sea or a remote mountain / view, and show him ... he will become your fan of photography: P)

B. Avoid Flash as much as possible during the night. One thing to remember - nearly three of the top things together have to be altered at night. Only one (not just ISO or aperture) can change. Depending on what kind of picture you want (Portrait / Landscape / Foreground / Background) and the condition of the lighting of the environment, the above three things can be altered by capturing the mysterious moments of the night on your frames. And if you can understand the importance of night photography, I bet that you will feel fluid in taking photos of the day. So Happy Photography
