An unusual excursion ...

Today an unusual story about one of the attractions of Omsk.
In the first excursions here almost does not happen and not many were in this place. Yes, I brag.
Secondly the story timed to the anniversary of our with Irene @irenmade wedding. She already told about this in the post for the project "LIFE"

And we are talking about the fire tower of our city, designed by engineer Khvorinov and built in 102 years ago.

The Nizhny Novgorod peasant Mikhail Andreevich Kuznetsov built a watch. Cylindrical building was built quite quickly - for a year and four months. On the first floor there was a steam fire-tower, from a wide gate at any time the fire could go to the horse-drawn carriage, and later - and the car. On the second floor there lived a fire-master. August 28, 1915 the signing of the act on the acceptance of the highest building in Omsk took place.

Watch on the watch tower was the watchman and his assistant, who were in a wooden turret. He still carries an eternal and not removable duty there)))

An ordinary staircase leads to the second floor, where the current cabinet of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is located.

From here, from the second floor, a steep, literally and figuratively staircase begins.

The spiral staircase is not authentic, but still caused a sea of ​​emotions ...
