Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

I went to sleep under the usual late hour last night, this is happening because of all these early morning work shifts recently, and so I have adapted to this routine. Falling asleep was not a problem with the night being a slightly milder one. Still I was tired from the early morning shifts so I fell asleep. The weather this morning was dark, the sky was mostly cloudy, there was no sun shine but instead I was surprised by some rainfall which I hope won't remained for long, temperature wise it stayed cold. The heating as been on more lately, meaning I'm just seeing the money burning itself away. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, this happens now when I'm off from work, I still got too hot but this was more during the early morning, the cold at the beginning was annoying. Our "cat" alarm clock stayed indoors for the night which I was surprised about considering it was milder. This morning it was difficult to get out of bed, but only because I wanted to get more rest after missing out during the week. With a late start I was glad I didn't have work to be in for today, but more so I could rest, which means that this was a good opportunity to get on with some chores and other things. There was plans to meet up with friends later as I have been seeing less of them lately, especially since I had been unwell for sometime. I have a lot of chores to get on with and I mostly wanted the rest. I wanted to continue with the kitchen, fighting some of the mold that tries to settle on the walls. I got a few more pictures organised and out of my phone incase the battery in it stops working. Later I got my bag together, changed and left the house to go meet with friends. It was pleasant on the way and I had a great time with them, it strange how we seemed to have the same idea this time on doing things. On the way back I was suppose to get some headphones from one of my friends but I was already half way home when I remembered. I back tracked all the way back only to get close for them to say that infact they cannot find it anymore. So again I made my way home where I past a zombie type guy who was continuously kicking down the wind protectors at the bus stop. He honestly just seemed like a mindless idiot kicking the same bit of plastic over and over and over. I want to try and get one of those small work-outs done but had no chance of that if I wanted to get the rest needed. After I went for dinner and lastly I started to prepare to settle in for the night. The TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers part of the condenser project to fix the wrong display numbers. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. We should of kept the TRX wallet functional, if you agree you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Hope you have a good day or night and I will see you on the next Steemit post.

Today's Picture

With less photos available of the flowers found up at the nearby green hill area it's no surprise to start seeing my food captures making a comeback.

This particular photo was taken during a work day where the superiors were nice enough to provide us with some chocolate covered donuts.

These were found under a protective layer of plastic to keep them fresh, it was obvious to me that some staff already couldn't resist these tasty looking chocolate covered donuts.
Having a closer look here I wouldn't blame them, I couldn't resist them myself.
But this was mostly because I had previously tried on another occasion the other donuts which were also made by the same people who made these.
And let me tell you something.. they are usually very good.
The price they are sold for is not expensive, they are sold actually cheap which is shocking for their good quality, but I'm definitely not complaining about the great price for what you get it.
I think the close-up really demonstrates how delicious and the good quality of these donuts vs seeing them wrapped under plastic.

I'm no expert but I don't think much is needed to make your own "simple" donuts, simply some milk, sugar "of course", eggs, flour and the oil for deep frying them. That's about it really but of course you can add much more to that recipe.
