Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

Last night I went to sleep past the usual late hour, this was because I was learning some game mechanics. As for falling asleep this took me longer than I expected, annoying after yesterday it being better indeed I was having some difficulty falling asleep again. When I did fall asleep I woke-up just under 1 hour before my scheduled alarm which is what I done yesterday, but I think this time it was due to people talking loudly. Initially I thought it may have been the brightness outside but don't think that would of been possible this morning. I expected this morning to be difficult to get out of bed I tried getting some more sleep but it was difficult, I woke-up to the alarm which was set for later than usual, I rested past it but not for much longer. The good thing about today and why it seemed logical to do so was I didn't have work, and so going past my alarm was not a big issue. As for the weather this morning like yesterday it's reverted back to being a very cloudy, dark morning. Since it's rained almost non-stop the past 2 days I would expect some rain today likely in the afternoon, there was definitely a drop in temperature as it's been the first morning in a while were it's unfortunately got cold again, argh even to the point I had to put on a extra layer again😡. I guess I'm surprised as they are saying on the weather that once this remaining dull weather passes us it will be 3 months of heatwaves. I have little confidence in that statement as the weather is very dynamic around here. Lucky for me with such a late start I didn't have work to get in for but did have plans to meet with friends later, and so of course it's going to rain later right? I didn't want this late of a start to the day as there are chores I want to get done. I was actually not even sure if I would be meeting with friends or not as they were feeling unwell and told me they would inform me later if they were up for it or not. I done a few chores and put in a payment for the rest of the bills. I didn't get half the things I wanted done before I had no more time and had to start leaving. My boss also started to message me saying there was a warning about a ton of extra work needing to be done this Saturday and I would likely need to stay longer. Yes of course "this Saturday only" it happens because I had planed to meet with friends for a while after work as they would just be returning from the event. Still my friends messages me saying we was still good to meet and so I left I had giving myself plenty of time to get ready. Making my way to see friends the weather had improved from earlier with some sun now being out which is not what I expected even if it did look like it was going to storm down 20 minutes ago. I was even at the point I was considering putting on the extra layer but the thing that put me off was it felt fine in my room wearing short sleeves. We talked about various things some of the conversations I enjoyed the most was about our pets and about my friends work. I left later than usual which was annoying but I also starte to develop this headache and had to leave. On the way back it was still a little light and so a lot more people still out as the temerature was nice. On Steemit.com I'm very glad to still see it working as it should, work on updating the look of the Steemit.com interface continues on for something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic and Alpha testing can now be tried. Today's Picture

As for the picture today I share some flower photography, a quick disclaimer I understand that this type of photography on Steemit has a bit of a bad reputation. This is because it was often used by spammers to make like 8 posts each day.
Hopefully as you can see from my blog I'm nowhere near making 8 or more posts per day on the subject of flowers.

I believe this was captured on the way to work near the super market as the weather was getting better, I have shared in the past a similar photo. Firstly what we have here is a think the Red Ballerina Heesterrozen which I feel looks more pink but seeing the one they call the pink Ballerina Heesterrozen I can understand why this one is said to be red. The photo I shared similar to this one was a Red Ballerina Heesterrozen still in it's growing stage and not fully open. Here it seem we captured a older one but still approaching it's midlife point and of fully open. I feel the Red Ballerina Heesterrozen petals offer such a beautiful colour of pink going into a slightly more red colour to admire. We can see that unfortunately one of the petals are already damaged however for some reason this seems to be particularly common with this flower it also looks like this one sits on top of either one who is trying to grow or is already past it's time.

Since we know the name of this flower already there will be no upvote for guessing it's name however I'm sure there will still come opportunities 🏆 for you in later posts.
