Though this photo might evoke a series of negative feeling like hopelessness and death, but examining the place that this tree has grown in, considering the harsh condition of a desert, makes me full of hope, if this tree has grown in a desert, with out water and even a solid ground, so we can do anything too. It just need patience and courage.
