Xmas caterpillar. This one is ominous.

Living in the Costa Rican highlands for almost a decade now, I am still surprised by new species of various critters. Here is a particular kind of caterpillar that i have only encountered once,it has an X on its back and a creepy facade. I cannot stop marveling at the beautiful variety of life here
