PART 2

Maximize Canva, Copy Your Projects

The app allows you to save your own projects and most editing apps do. The major advantage of Canva is the ability to duplicate your project This allows a creator to save many different versions of a project and then alter it to create many variations that all conform to a style or marketing scheme. Notice the °°° button in the image below.

That button reveals a menu that contains a copy project function.

It's awesome.
It's all done one an iPhone. :)

The next image is showing us how I've used the copy project function to create two similar images. (Sorry about the surprise NSFW images.) The red circle shows the button on the first project and the arrow is pointing to the new project.

That other blurred stuff is new marketing material that I'm not ready to reveal yet. It might be a Steem exclusive. Sometimes I do that.

The Dark Side

Too many options digging you into a hole? You are not alone. We live in a marketing driven/coping society that has conditioned us to think we are better off when we have the most options at our disposal. It's not true. (Paradox of Choice) Don't feel bad.

Below is the full size version of a DIY Splurgoholic advertisement for new Tetrahedroseph album that is revealed for the first time here and in the image about. Do you like it?

untitled design

Meh, I don't. It might be something to just have out there and it's fun that I used the free template, but to have an album cover inside is just more border trash, clutter, amateur, over-decorated, bludgeoned dead horse, cell phone masturbation, and excessive art loitering. Experimentation?

Fortunately, I used Canva to add the image. I can replace it easily.

Just remember what I said in the last post,

"Take a shit instead."

No, seriously!

I said,

"beware of the dark side of this technique. Don't over do it. Don't add more everytime. Change things and remove things, but don't start adding more every time you jump back into an older project."

I think most of us these days want our marketing materials or brand art to convey lots of info under the time constraint of a person's glance. Do this by keeping it simple. Minimize more than three contrasting element. Don't create distractions for a person that might only remember the bight white text in the middle of an image. Look at my images. What was the fist thing you looked at in some of them? Imagine only looking at it for half of a second. What would stick in your head as you looked away while crossing a busy intersection? Are you on the phone while you cross the intersection and look at my images. Please don't. Look up and away from my banter for all of our sakes.

"Guerrilla Marketing Tactics: Album Art DIY Or Die Part 3"

Part 3 will feature the song I created for this album. One song? Two songs... maybe three songs. I already know the album title and cover will be NSFW. Everyone likes profanity, don't they? TikTok porn, right? It's all good, right?

Impressive & informative post.

And this is all done over the phone? Wow.

I added "It's all done on the iPhone."
Thanks for your comment. I owe you a Tetrahedroseph discography.

You are impressive as usual, my friend.

Lol, with the iPhone, yes. Did I forget to mention that? Once... oh dear...
