I love the look of Anamorphic lens when I am shooting Video. There something special about how it bends light and the flairs it makes. Real anamorphic lens are out of my price range. They are well into the thousands. Last few years or so I played around with anamorphic projector lens and modifications so they can be mounted onto a DSLR.
I shot this video when I was on location working on a feature film. I got there early so I can shoot this beautiful Location in Yonkers NY.
