Playing around with shutter speeds.

So tonight I made one last trip to the falls, so I could capture some cool effects playing around with shutter speeds and around here it is one of the prettier places to take photos of water.
So here is some photos the first one is at just a normal shutter speed.

The next one was taken with the shutter open for 2 seconds.

This one was taken with the shutter open for 3 seconds

This one was taken at 3 seconds also

This one was taken with the shutter open for 4 seconds which was almost too much for the lighting conditions, but I still loved the way it turned out.

I love these waterfall shots! My favorite is the one that was open for 3 seconds and then the very last photo. Very nice shots! I haven't taken any pictures of water yet but I look forward to now :)

word of advice go as close to sunset as you can, specially if you are just learning and haven't figure out all the setting yet. As it doesn't work well if the sun is too high in the sky, it lets too much light in. I am just in the learning phases but that is what I learned today.

Great advice thank you. I will remember this.
