The Beautiful Sunsets of La Paz

It is  commonly said that sunsets are proof that no matter what happens, every day can end beautifully! We live in a world full of beauty so let's open our eyes and explore the beauty the world has to offer. Today I would like to share with you a compilation of sunset photographs taken during my visit to La Paz, Mexico. I was amazed to see such marvelous beauty. Hope you enjoy these photos. All photos taken using Iphone 6S Plus. 

There are many places where you can see the sunset in La Paz. The best place are in the beautiful beaches, which you probably saw in my previous post, the malecon or the wasterfront hotels. The following photos you are about to see are from the Costa Baja Resort and the malecon. Sunset in La Paz during my stay here was around 7:35PM. 

Interesting facts about sunsets:

Did you know that sunsets occur due to Earth's atmosphere? If Earth did not have any air like the moon, the sun would simply look as if it was dropping behind the horizon, but instead the atmosphere creates the scattered light effects. 

The sun looses color as it sets. At the end of a sunset you only see a big fire ball as the other colors as the other hues of blue, green and yellow have been lost. 

Did you know pollution is what causes the most beautiful sunsets? Sadly, the smoke particles are able to filter the colors leaving the pinks and reds to create those vivid orange sunsets. Too much pollution however, will create a dark sunset that is hard to appreciate. 

Some people believe that a good sunset with a red sky is a sign that the weather will be good for the following morning. 

Remember that after a beautiful sunset comes a beautiful sunrise so there is no end to the beauty of this world! Maintain yourself positive and allow for every sunset to be a new opportunity to reset.
