Over the summer of 2018 I worked with Primary Studio and the Mill Allotment Holders Association to capture gardeners memories and experiences, some of whom have been working this patch of land for over 50 years . This was the first stage of a collaboration that documents allotments and the impact they have on local communities – at a time when city allotment rents are set to rise steeply, and there’s a shift in the culture of urban growing.
