Is Steemit a good place for photographers?

in photography •  7 years ago

Hello All,
My first post on Steemit. I'm a photographer/programmer and will see if my art and techieness will be a good fit for this platform.
This image was taken at Dragon*Con in Atlanta this summer.
Let me know what you think DSC_9628.jpg

Not bad, but the background disturb. Why cut cut the left hand, etc. This Earthlight-thing catch the eye more than the face of man.
My 2 cents.

Thanks for the feedback. Do most photographers here skip water marks?

As fare as I saw (well I'm only active since 3 weeks), yes. In most cases water marks disturb and do not help against stolen pictures. I personally prefer the Exif for copy right, etc. (yes, Exif also can be removed). I use (CC) BY-SA on most of my work, so ppl. don't need to steel.
