So I got a surprise from Adobe today: 2 Lightrooms?

So I have the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription so I can have access to Lightroom CC.
But when I logged in to use it today I noticed that there has been some new releases and rebranding in Adobe land regarding the what's become the de facto desktop photo editor. The previous Lightroom is now to be called Lightroom Classic CC and the new non "Classic" version is a brand lighter version of Lightroom but now "Lightroom CC" as you can see below.

I've only begun to explore the interface of the new CC but one thing I am already appreciating is full screen editing. Something that I really miss from the demise of Apple's now defunct Aperture 3 days, when editing on a laptop I really want to maximize the real estate of the smaller screen. I can finally do that again with Lightroom CC. I'll be posting more on cool features I find as they come up.
