My First New York Strip Steak

I don't bring home many steaks like this. Usually when I buy it's thin cut steaks, but today I wanted to try to cook up a thick cut steak. I cooked this steak medium rare, however I like my steaks either medium or medium well done. It was still a great steak. Will be trying to make new foods Top.

Looks like a really good piece of meat, I like how you pan-fried it instead of grill it. Tumi steaks taste a lot better when they are pan fried and have that seared crust

Thanks for that, it was late at night so didn't want to fire up the grill. However I would like to try grilling steaks too. Pan frying is just a lot easier to make just about anything than over a grill.
