The iron pipes served for about 30 years as supports for a boat bridge in the port of St. Tropez. This insert creates the special patina.

Little story about the camera.
A offline electronic market offer the camera and the kit lens at ~ 600,--€, at this time the 650 D was out. I thought why not give Canon a try, and this low casch & carry price was ok for me. So I bought it, went home and drop the box into the cabinett.
A month or two later I remember the camera, nice weather why not use the Canon. I unboxed it, mount the lens, etc. took it first time in my hands .... hell whats that ... plastic, plastic, plastic ... where is the Tav setting?
Who need this funny program-modes, seems not good shooting for using in rain, I guess also not dust proofed. At this moment I was sure the Canon and me will not become friends.
I shoot about 100 frames, sometimes I gave to friends. Than the camera went into the cabinett. After around 12 month and total of 300 frames I could sell the camera for 300,--€. The new owner was happy.
Will not say that this camera is crap, maybe other users are happy with it.
