I've stayed in LA for sometime. Some people may frown upon hearing the name because of the awful traffic, terrible downtown, and the security concerns. But I do like the city a lot.
Many people complain about the crowdness at Santa Monica. That's true. Every time I went to Santa Monica, the pier was packed with visitors. Actually you can find better view, and way fewer people at other beaches, for example, Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach.
Hermosa Beach is having more visitors after the movie La La Land, but still way better than Santa Monica. Maybe next time you visit LA, stop by the Hermosa Beach. Even if you're not a fan of La La Land, you'll like the place.
我在洛杉矶生活过一段时间。很多人一听这个城市的名字就皱眉，洛杉矶的交通、所谓市中心的面貌还有安全隐患的确都挺闹心的。但我对这个地方还是挺有感情的。
很多人都抱怨圣莫妮卡太拥挤。没错，我每次去圣莫妮卡那里都是人山人海，有时甚至摩肩接踵。其实如果你只是想看海滩，洛杉矶还有人更少风景更好的选择，比如曼哈顿海滩和赫莫萨海滩。
爱乐之城的热映给赫莫萨海滩带来了不少人气，但还是比圣莫妮卡好多了。下次再去洛杉矶，如果有时间的话可以去赫莫萨海滩走走。无论你喜不喜欢爱乐之城，都不会失望的。

还记得电影里Mia和Sebastian欣赏爵士乐的小酒吧the Lighthouse Cafe吗？这家人气也是水涨船高，高峰期店门口排队的人不少。
