Do not worry, I do not really know much about the subject but I live surrounded by people who graduated in agronomy and biology careers, so they know about it and teach me some things. So nothing to be ashamed. :)

The scientific name is Calotropis gigantea, in my country (Venezuela) we called it "Algodon de España" which means Cotton of Spain, in the sowing they are brushwood. I hope this help you :)
