These few days haven't been kind. Not even a little bit.
Many people left stranded, jobless, homeless and even hopeless.
Something about all this has reminded us of what truly is important and how we could all benefit from reflection and empathy.
The first thing that happened after the news broke out wasn't fear, confusion or rebellion, it was panic. A mix of all the feelings that rush in when your existence is in the face of danger.

Through out the globe there was a united, unprecedented level of panic. There was no say how things would look, when it would end or what we were actually facing.
Amidst all the panic came the indecisive executive orders putting the globe to almost a full halt. Businesses, livelihood, quality of living, everything falling victim to it. With that came the sense of lingering obvious - SHORTAGE.
Nature's very cunning way of putting things into perspective. It showed some of us truly had it better, some were much more blessed than the others.

I headed out on one of the lockdown days to the market. Food supply was low in the kitchen and there were growls from my center mass.
Our country had promised we would not face any shortage in food or medication. We should rather spend time with our families at home and do all we could to not spread it further.
That day in the market did I truly appreciate what we have and how hard some places have worked to keep it ever-colorful. Our markets were full, if not still over flowing with fresh produce and vibrant deliciousness.

During the lockdown I had decided to spend the extra time on myself and developing new skills and honing some talents. Among those were my love for photography and editing. I took the opportunity and took pictures of the produce to reflect how I felt...everyday...blessed...thankful and full of life.
These aren't any professional work of art or something you could stand and try decipher for hours on end. These were emotions in an assorted mix of red, green and blue glowing through a screen screaming a message.
