One of My Best Photos! Lower Kananaskis Lake, Alberta

On a backpacking trip last year I was greeted by this amazing view. A little while later it started to snow (this was is July). Kananaskis Lake was once a natural lake that was turned into a reservoir, but before this all trees in the floodplain were cut down. Hence the abundance of tree stumps.
