In my wanderings I notice a lot of things, especially when signs are in English advertising something, which is a rarity because if Native-English speakers make up even 1% of the population here I would be surprised. But this one stood out to me.

It appears as though this house hasn't been lived in for quite some time, even the sign is worn out. The overgrown yard kind of indicates that it hasn't been lived in for maybe a year or so.
As luck would have it a friend of mine, who has 2 dogs was looking for a new place to live. He called the owners to inquire only to be told that they do not allow pets for the rental. This seems a bit nuts to me because as far as the appearance is concerned, it looks like they aren't terribly interested in people living there either.
So I am very curious what their motivation is to have a sign that is ONLY in English on the property even though during my 2 hour bike ride today I didn't encounter a single non-Thai person in the area this house is located in. It wasn't even in a part of town that would see much accidental passing by traffic either.
Some times things just don't make a lot of sense! Best of luck to the owners but I would imagine that at some point they might need to be a little less discerning about what sort of renters they are looking for... else this place might just end up empty forevermore.
