Once in a while, a rock is sliced, and the colors inside make a recognisable picture. This one looks Like a house at Christmas time, with a decorated tree out front. Haven't decided how I will use it yet, but I just had to have this one.

This is a psychological phenomenon called Pareidolia. Apparently, it is quite common and I've succumbed to it myself as have the vast majority of people.

I sure have, LOL. I have picked up rocks since I was a kid.
I have a friend who leaves his saw cutting almost all the time, looking for the perfect picture. He gives a lot of the rejects to young rock hounds, so they can have types of rocks they seldom see.
