It makes no sense! Why invite a person/vegan to a tv show and then not allow him to answer the many questions asked?! Wasn't the point to learn something, to better understand the subject and possibly to see things in a new way, opposed to the two hosts teaching the guest and the viewers about their own (or the common) view on the world?!

    the hosts have such big egos and never want their opinion to be threatened they have to just talk over the guests answers all the time
