Greedy Paul

Hello: Like I said I have been playing Pinball for a long time. As a kid my family vacationed at the beach which meant the boardwalk and pinball arcades. There aren't too many machines from the 60's and 70's that I haven't played at some point. The first day of our vacation rained. I walked into one of the local arcades and spotted a 1968 Gottlieb's Domino that was about 2 weeks old. This has since become my favorite machine of all time. If anyone remembers playing this game let me know. I basically cleaned the machines clock and after an hour on one quarter the owner of the arcade Paul proceeded to confiscate my replays and removed me from the game. He claimed the machine could not be operating properly because I was winning too much. Funny thing about these guys. They lure you in by saying if your good you can play all night on one quarter but if you do it your in trouble with the establishment. He then told me I wasn't welcome in his arcade any more. It was then that he was officially named "Greedy Paul". The name actually caught on with quite a number of people. Funny things happen when you challenge a 15 year old kid with endless energy and reflexes. The rest of my two week vacation I spent every night in his arcade playing each of his machines until I mastered it. This all being done while he was hanging over me trying to make me choke. I suppose he's long since gone to pinball heaven by now and is counting all of his quarters. Gottlieb's Domino.jpg
