Hey there, when I first got on steem over three years ago I started to make these cool collaboration videos (see the bottom of this post for what they looked like) as the years went by I realised that actually a lot of the steem platform was a lot of people that I knew in day to day life I’d just clash heads so instead I just went into ‘doing my own thing’
Recently thou, by playing around on http://join.pepo.com/RN5H1H (pepo) on the OST blockchain I’ve noticed that actually there are a few people out there that run at the pace I do and love the things I love so I’ve been willing to reach out and experiment again with people who share similar interests.
I’ve been making these quick fire videos for promoting the things I do as ‘ultimate pinned videos’ they kinda get across a message incredibly fast and contain hot links, translations and chapters so they are easy to track back on, you can see them also on youtube.

. .. I did another one for the OST blockchain as well which http://join.pepo.com/RN5H1H (referral pepo link) which I managed to get down to around one minute which was perfect for sharing on twitter for promotion as well. .
The point of these videos is to be super fast, convey a message, get over the feature set and inform people quickly in this ever moving fast economy to reach out and check out the platform, we all know that people are in transition and that attention is the currency these days!
So, I’m looking to build out a 2 minute and 20 second video for steem, I’m thinking that maybe we should have TWELVE seconds each 10 seconds long so I’m looking for twelve people that would be willing to record a part for this, I’m not sure of the parts yet but I’ll start to make a list around it.
I’m thinking we should cover things like.. .
- immutability
- transaction times
- the hundreds of witnesses
- the amount of frontends
- the games
- the dapps
- communities
- decentralised video hosting (ipfs/dtube)
. … and a couple more things I can’t think of right now? So I guess I’m looking for about ten people that are willing to record a ten second ‘sting’ so I can compile those videos together and put that on ultimatepinnedvideo.com — if I get ZERO help, no worries, I’ll just use my ugly mug for the whole two minute, twenty second video but I kinda just wanted to put it out there so that the web can see this ‘community’ spirit that steem is always talking so highly off!
