The inlay is finished, and I love it:
It looks nice and authentically "pirate". I had considered a little more detail around the eye patch, but really I just love it how it is so decided to restain around it (lesson learned: Inlay before finishing work on the wood) and call it done.
Tomorrow I will oil the wood and should have it 100% finished and back together for shooting again on Sunday. All told, about 10 days worth of free time and $450 dedicated to it (not counting shooting supplies and tools, or the stones since I've had them for years).
Not bad at all for such a neat piece. Add in the stone values and it jumps to probably around $700. I feel like I could easily ask over $1000 for this were I to want to sell it.

@bago...I'm not seeing the ROI I would expect from resteeming content to all these followers...14 hours, 11 votes and $.13 is a paltry sum, especially when paying for increased exposure...with a reputation of "4" you lack the weight to cast a vote worth anything more than pocket lint...your offer needs to come with a guarantee, otherwise it isn't a wise investment for anyone on Steem to follow

No problem, in my transfers it shows I sent the funds around an hour ago. No idea when the resteem happened. For me it was less about actual increase on post value and more about increased exposure to potential followers who liked the content.
