So I fixed my laptop... But...

I had no idea what I was doing... A friend helped me a little by giving me brief general instructions as a guide. But I had to figure out how to do what he was telling me...

I made a bootable ubuntu USB which I can still use. To make that I had to backup my wedding pictures in another computer...

Then using that USB and an external hard drive (which I made a while ago from a laptop Hard Disk) I backed up all the info in my laptop. That took a few hours.

Then I don't remember how but took my laptop to original state, like I had just bought it.

I am never, never going to buy HP again.

Now I only have Atom installed as software to work with. I need to reinstall Photo Shop and Illustrator...

I have lost a few files too u.u I guess it always happens.

I was scared, I am not a programmer... But my friend said: "You have done more difficult things"

I have no idea what he was talking about...
