Hello everyone,

It is with great remorse I write to apologize for the unintentional plagiarism of football posts that I have been posting some weeks ago. I deeply apologize for my actions and I do promise that nothing of that sort will happen again.

Few weeks ago, a friend approached me to help him tackle a problem in his project work. I took it upon myself to help him. In return for the help, we both agreed that he will be helping me write a football post.

Because I knew the consequences of plagiarism through the several telegram meetings organized by steem-ghana moderators and as I have personally written about it in my achieve task 3. Likewise in my membership validation post to both the @worldoffootball and @steem.sports community. I took my time to explain to him to write content free from plagiarism and that the blockchain voids plagiarism and he agreed.

It was rather unfortunate that he agreed but did not go according to it which has led to this shameful act on me however, I will blame myself for not checking to see whether it is plagiarism-free. It was also my fault for agreeing to the conditions that he should write the football stories for me but I thought as I was doing him a favor he would also help me out. Having said that, I admit the fact that those posts posted by me were plagiarized and I humbly apologize for the wrongdoing. It will surely not repeat itself.

After the-gorilla had visited my posts with the comment of plagiarism, I contacted my friend, and he said it was not plagiarized and that he wrote it by himself purposely for me. That is the reason for which I commented and asked the-gorilla those questions and denied those posts were plagiarized. Minutes later after checking with a plagiarism checker, I realized it was plagiarized for which I called my friend again and he confirmed to me that he just made some small changes to those he saw online. Fortunately for me, the-gorilla also added a picture of the plagiarism check he made and that also confirmed it.

It was therefore from then that I kept mute on the issue trying to defend the wrong. Most people will say I have no sense of remorse but the issue was I was not aware that those posts were plagiarized until I checked.

Once again, I am sorry and I deeply apologize for the harm I have caused the blockchain and the entire football lovers most especially the @worldoffootball and @steem.sports community and @steem-ghana on the large note. It is really a shame for me as a newly appointed Modertor to go against the rules of the community putting a bad name to the community. I pledge this occurrence will not happen again.

I hope the general team will find a place in their heart to forgive me and accept my apologies.
