It sometimes seems that time is running short to realize everything we have to do.
It is therefore essential to develop effective strategies to define the time periods to assign for each important task of your life.
Once you have identified ways to improve your time management, you can then adjust your habits and behaviors.
What skills are required to know how to Manage Time?
1. Know how to make a list of tasks to perform
Having a list will allow you to remember what task is to be done and when.
She will have to understand the things you have to do with their deadline as well as all your appointments.
Do not burden your memory with all the things that concern you. Write them down in your list and you will greatly reduce your stress.
Your list can be made by hand, with a pen and a paper or with a free application such as Evernote to install on your smartphone.
It is important to always have this list at hand wherever you go. It should be consulted and updated regularly.
Prioritize the items in your list as follows:
- Important
- Not Important and Urgent
- Not Urgent
2. Knowing how to set goals
Define clear, accurate, and realistic goals.
You will first have to examine your current situation if you want to understand how to manage your time; Assess what are the most important objectives to be achieved as a priority and what actions you will have to take to achieve them.
3. Know how to set priorities
A person who works hard and organized, but who spends all his time on unimportant tasks, can be productive, but not effective.
To be effective, you must decide which tasks are urgent and important and focus on those.
List the tasks you have defined and prioritize them, then spend more time on the most important tasks. You will thus avoid the natural tendency to focus on simple and easy tasks without real values to achieve your goals.
Differentiate between them the urgent and important tasks: an urgent task may not necessarily be important!
4. Know how to avoid procrastination
"Never Leave the next day what can do today" Franklin Benjamin
Procrastination is a real scourge for managing its time. It is important that you learn to manage your fear of doing things that you do not want to do but that you know are important.
A tip: Try to make decisions quickly when possible and when you do not need to gather more information.
The best time to do something is usually NOW.
5. Break down the tasks
Determine all the steps to achieve your goals and try to be as specific as possible.
Always complete a task before moving on to the next one!
In order to maintain your motivation, do not forget to award yourself a reward once a goal has been reached; you deserve it.
Monitor your progress regularly and review your objectives, if any, to accommodate unforeseen changes.
6. Staying persevering
You can be sure of one thing; Things will not always go as you expected. You will need to persevere and learn to adopt a positive attitude.
Successful people are often the ones who have made the most mistakes.
The fear of making or admitting one's mistakes is a major handicap. Error is a crucial part of any creative process and each one of them is a lesson that will take you one step closer to your goals.
7. Know how to organize your time
Identify the moments in your day where you are wasting time and trying to reduce them.
To do this, thoroughly record everything you do for a week and then examine the result to understand how you can improve the use of your time during the day.
Develop a regular work routine. Keep your workspace clean to work efficiently - it's hard to be effective if the documents you need are buried under a bunch of objects and drafts.
8. Using a Calendar
An effective way to eliminate lost time is to use a diary.
Compose an agenda for the next seven days, divided into half-hour intervals from your waking up to your bedtime.
Write down what you will do for each half hour of the day for the next seven days.
Examine your agenda at the end of your week and ask yourself the following questions:
• Are there periods that I could use more productively?
• At what time of the day am I most effective? Some people are very alert in the morning, while others are more alert in the afternoon or evening. Plan your most important tasks for these times of the day...
thumbs up. thanks!

I evaluate my habits frequently. (I know today when I got home I have not used my time effectively.) I have formed a new habit of while waiting for my cup of tea to brew in the morning, I get my lunch packed out of the fridge and into the bag, along with the clothes that I need for work.
We also should slot in some down time. Time to think to ponder to exercise.
