Sightseeing flight Enschede
A few years ago I received a sightseeing flight as a birthday gift above Enschede, from my parents in law… They did this because I am a big aviation fan and this would be my FIRST flight! Enschede Airport is a very small airport in the East of The Netherlands.
A picture of this aircraft... a small Reims F172N Skyhawk 100, registration PH-CIO
I got the seat next to the pilot. A good place to take a close up picture of the cockpit. My parents in law were sitting in the backseats.
After taxing between many shelters and F-16 we took off from runway 05/23. Nowadays all military activities are gone. On the airport there is only a airplane dismantling company.
A flight above Enschede brings us by the Grolsch veste, the football stadium of FC Twente.

After the flight we had a bumpy landing back on Enschede Airport. It was a great birthday present! And I still remember this nice flight.
I hope you enjoyed my post.
