If I don't speak, I could explode
If I bottled up, the worm in me won't let me
If I do not think, the neuron won't stop
Passing that single message.
It runs through my veins.
Yes, I must say.
The message that kept the eyes open,
Waiting for a single object to see,
Left the ears alert
For a single voice to hear,
Yet, it forget the heart
Is pounding and racing with no drive.
It caught my view the upright tree
For years I couldn't see the road to take
Pondering upon its beauty beneath my wrapper
Wandering my legs upon its matter
And this won't stop melting like a metal,
Then, i must say.
The tree is a given
It presence blows happiness,
Love to play with because of its decency
Produces seeds for people apart discrepancy
And its flower is a shield
Then I must say
Do not blame that innocent mind of mine
Its integrity kept whispering to my ears
Those firm Egos kept calling my heed
I want to sit by it root
And hold unto its head.
Its breeze watered me like a dew
Biko! Oh You tree
Shield me with your branches
Feed me by your fruit,
You are not the only tree
But I trek your tree only
And withstand the slippery coarse floor
Stop blowing me away,
Stop denying my soul
I know what I want
And I want what I know.
I wish to watch the tree for a time long.
