Plant Update

Hi Friends,

Well, I started planting a few things about a month and half ago and things have not gone according to plan.

I originally purchased 3 baby plants - a cherry tomato plant, a jalapeño plant, and a basil leaf plant. I put them in their own pots this year as the place I used to plant last year didn’t get enough sun.

Unfortunately, they got a little too much sun, and started wilting. I moved them to the shade so they got less than half the sun they were previously getting, and the plants are barely hanging on.

The basil plant didn’t make it, and that is pretty much toast at this point. The jalapeño plant seems to be coming back well, and shed some of its original leaves, but is growing fresh ones again:

The cherry tomato plant has a decent main vine, but there isn’t anything shooting off of it at the moment, so it remains to be seen how well this plant will do:

Anyway, I am having fun, but having little success this year... but its still early, perhaps it will be a good growing year yet!
