From Where Are You Flowing?

Plato says, “human behavior flows through three main sources: desire, emotions, and knowledge.”

Check-in with yourself. Where is your behavior flowing from?

Is it flowing from your desire to be loved, accepted, or successful? Is it flowing through the emotions of anger, resentment, or frustration? Is it flowing from a place of one-sided knowledge of what you think you know?

Do not let yourself be weighed down by selfish desire, bleeding emotion, or skewed knowledge.

Instead, let your behavior flow from the desire to make the world a better place. Let your emotions flow from love and compassion. And, flow from the knowledge that there are many different perspectives - each playing its special part within the whole.

Check in with these three areas of your life and find out how you are flowing with the current.
