Warriors star player Stephen Curry has been out of the game since March 16 due to foot injury, but he is expected to return to the court as Warriors open playoffs against Denver Nuggets on saturday. As reported by The Athletic Curry scrimmaged with the Warriors on Thursday, according to head coach Steve Kerr, who informed reporters that when Curry returns, he will be limited in minutes.
Since Warriors haven't confirmed about the availability of Stephen Curry's game 1,but they released an update on Tuesday saying that "he continues to make good progress in his recovery process".
But Denver seems to be all set for the game though they have more injury concerns than Golden State as Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. are considered unlikely to return to the floor for the postseason.
If Curry does play in Game 1, he will, for the first time in his career, share some of his initial minutes alongside Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. Thompson's ruptured Achilles tendon kept the Warriors short-handed to start the season. Green had sustained an injury by the time Thompson was ready to return. Green returned for Golden State's game against the Wizards on March 14, but Curry was injured two days later against the Celtics.
