RAHUL DRAVID – THE WALL

in poem •  6 years ago  (edited)

When problems arise, he comes;
When issue arises, he comes;
When strength arises, he comes;
When crisis arises, he comes;
When he comes, we know he came;
Because there is no one to climb him;
The one and only;
The stand and alone,
Great wall of India-
Mr. Rahul Dravid.

Sachin is God of Cricket,
Ganguly is Temple of Cricket,
Laxman is light of Cricket,
But, he is every brick, every stone,
Every structure of Cricket, without him,
Its butt land.

Long back, he came; as reader in library.
He read all the rules; like a follower.
He adapted every situation; of his leadership.
He still continues to hold; the courage and character.
Of note that wall never falls, unless broken itself.

We see talent, while playing;
We see simplicity, while watching;
We see relation, while with family;
We see him, while seeing wall;
For him is true saver, when
Time goes forming, flowing water.

He came like a drizzle;
Still filling the ponds, then;
He came like a rain,
Still filling the lakes, then;
He came like a storm,
Still filling the rivers, then;
Suddenly, it stopped, why?
He replied,

From then to now, I have filled every heart,
From then to now, I have achieved a lot,
Now it’s time, to create something new,
For you and my pride,
I have created OCEAN.
