The Dance

It was a hot and steamy summer night.
She let out a scream of delight.

It was a dance from the dawn of time,
that made life sing in a joyful rhyme.

It was like a fire that came from the soul,
not answering the dance would take its toll.

She felt as if it was some kind of race,
each and every time that they embrace.

It seamed to her it was a game of chance,
but she decided with whom she would dance.

Some times the dance may need a little shove,
but you should never rush this thing called love.
