I was looking through my pictures and I had some major nostalgia hit me when I read this. I wrote this when I was 14 so don’t hate on it to much. Lol

It's always nice to stumble upon old pieces of yourself. I often look back at a lot of my old work and wonder if I would have written the same today. I have actually done that a couple of times. The result is always interesting.

I love finding old poems because it reminds me of what battles I’ve conquered. All of my poems I’ve written have a meaning behind them. This one I wrote shortly after my grandma passed away from cancer. It was a very difficult time for me because we had her house and my parents house up for sale a week after she passed. I’m just happy to know that she is still by my side protecting me.
