LIMITS

I prayed for wings, like a bird so I'd fly,
But I reminisced Icarus, and didn't go high,
For a moment, I paused to ask myself, why
Can't I go further, why can't I try?
It dawned on me I've lived in a lie,
The whole while.

Why?! I interrogated myself yet again.
These wings aren't made of wax!
So why bother bout what I'd loose or gain?
Why'd I rather than soar, relax?
When the highest heights, I wanted to attain.

This is my attempt to unlock my ability,
The very one that defies gravity.
With agility, I'll increase my velocity
Till I attain divinity, for eternity.

The greatest crime you'd ever commit,
Is to be defined by your very own limits.
What are your limits?
