Sincere success story

A sincere success story
was once without glory.
Living was a pair of dice;
anything would always suffice.

Sun- starved days;
gloom often had what to say.
We'd clouds without rain;
long faces with tears- stains.

Ridding on the back of trouble;
at us, despair would often giggle.
Our roads were really rough;
the frustration of a whooping cough.

Nothing good comes easy.
At times, one must be busy.
A little romance with persistence
is of an enormous essence.

Believe in your golden dream
or die beneath the stream.
Days are not always bright;
nights also have their rights.

Music is not always melodious.
Jokes are not always hilarious.
A sincere success story
was once without glory.
