Surviving

To survive endless hopeless
I must learn to thrive upon trusting me
To find that particular kind of shelf
Where I put myself in the wild melee
Of fear’s sudden embrace of disaster’s face

Safety-containment will grow
The more belief-in-me shows
Eventually I’ll be able to see
The path of my own becoming
Unfettered from terror’s errors...
